Series 2 DT picture quality

I have a Series 2 DT Model # TCD 649080. I have had the unit for over a year with no issues. Last month I notice that on some recording and live
TV that the picture has flashes of horizontal lines and the colors red and blue
will flicker at times if they are large objects. This seems to only be present on one of the tuners because if I switch tuners the picture is fine. It doesn't happen all the time and doesn't seem to matter what chanel it is. What do you think could be causing this? What would be the cost of the repair? Can I repait it myself?

If it is happening on only one tuner, and you're sure about that, then it sounds like an issue with the unit itself or possibly the input for that specific tuner. If it is the composite input from a cable box, you might want to try new cables.
