I have a Series 2 Humax TIVO dvr. My Humax dvd drive keeps opening and closing
Tried unplugging the TIVO, tried rebooting the TIVO, with AND without a blank DVD in the drive, it is fine for a bit, then starts up again within a few minutes.
Tried a recorded DVD, it does the same thing.
When I go to DVD and pick Close Tray, this keeps it closed for about 5 min. or more, then starts up again.
Then it will stop doing this for awhile. Then starts up again!
I finally had to cover it with a towel because it was keeping me up all night!

(Note, TIVO CS said to contact Humax, but it looks like they aren't providing Tech Support for the dvrs anymore.)
