I'm thinking of ordering a Tivo Roamio. I know I need a tru2way cable card from Time Warner, but as to whether or not I need to order and install a tuning adapter, I found the following TWC info:
"Does the Tuning Adapter work with all models of TiVos?:"
"No. Only TiVos with CableCARDs: HD, HD XL, and TiVo Series3 HD DVRs are compatible with the Tuning Adapter."
"Currently, Tuning Adapters are compatible with the following devices:"
"UDCP devices (retail set top boxes/DVRs):"
"TiVo DVR (Series 3, HD, or HD XL)"
"Moxi HD DVR"
"OCUR devices (for use with a Windows 7 PC):"
"Ceton InfiniTV 4 Multi-Tuner PC Card"
Here's the dumb question. For a Roamio, I don't need a tuning adapter, right? I don't specifically see the name Roamio listed, but does CableCARDS: HD, HD XL include Roamio? I'd ask a TWC person on the phone but can't seem to get an answer.
