    Dedicate tuner for To Do List

    I have a Hughes HDVR2 unit with a flaky Sat 2 input. Some channels are fine but others are un-watchable. I have re-configured my unit to only use the Sat 1 input, but of course have lost the use of the second tuner.

    Does anyone know of a way to only have the Sat 1 input be used for recording items in the To Do List (assuming only one show is being recorded at a time) even if both tuners are enabled?

    I don't think there's any way to do that. You'd have to just disable the other tuner.

      I am having the same problem... tried a new HD and tuner 2 is still flaky on select channels

        You tried a new HDVR2 receiver and you are still having problems on tuner 2? I was thinking of buy new or a reconditioned unit, but now maybe I won't. Is this a known problem with these units?

          Not at all - he tried a new hard drive, not a new unit. The hard drive has no effect on the tuners.
