Stuck on "clearing and deleting"

I moved my HR 10-250 HD to a different room and when I powered it up, got the "clearing and deleting everything, this will take up to an hour" message. Problem is, it has been over 13 hours and it still says the same thing. What should I do?

That probably means you have a bad drive in the unit. You should get a replace kit.
