Hard Drive issues

Hi,

I got a Tivo TCD240080 Series 2 DVR from a customer and the hard drive was not working according to them.

I was able to take the hard drive out and view it on the Windows computer and recover the data. However, is there anywhere I can purchase the software for the TIVO and reinstall it on the hard drive ?

Not really - but more likely, while the drive is viewable, it has some bad sectors. We'd recommend a "replace" kit from here:
