  • My HMDI stopped working on my Hr10

I have the Hr10 from Hughes and it's been great and finally got folders (yay!) but now my HDMI stopped working. I tried DVI to my computer monitor, but that stopped too. I can use component only.

What do I do to fix this?

I'm assuming you have an early-model HR10, manufactured before about December 2004. These units have a known problem with the HDMI board, making the output particularly unreliable.

The solution to the problem is a replacement board, which fixes the problem.

      OK - who has them?

WeaKnees usually keeps replacement hdmi cards in stock, and you can get a credit for exchanging your old one. The part can be shipped to you, or you can send in your TiVo to have the board installed by a technician. Follow this link and scroll down to "hdmi card":
