  • Regular loss of wifi connectivity

I use a Series 2 & a Series 3 TiVo connected via TiVo USB wireless adapters to my HT setup. Every 10 days to 2 weeks one or other unit loses connectivity; "A network cable is unplugged." I can always reestablish access simply by unplugging the dead adapter for 10 seconds but it's a nuisance.

How to work around this glitch? I could not find a reference to this issue in the FAQ.

    Thanks.

That sounds like a failing adapter. Switch adapters and see if the problem follows the adapter or stays with the unit.
    Been here a long time . . .

It's both adapters and they've been doing it for months. What are the odds of both failing simultaneously?

      Thanks for the prompt response.

Have you tried just rebooting your router, or replacing it?
