Any progress on the pixelation/tiling problem since the Series 3 was released? Are the Mcards any better for this problem than the Scards?
I have a Toshiba TV with an Scard. Every so often it pixelates and requires a reboot. Toshiba couldn't ever fix the problem despite software upgrades. The problem was worse when I had premium channels. All Comcast did was replace the cablecard which didn't help. A tech suggested the cablecard and mux out on the street fall out of sync to cause the problem.
So I held off on replacing my Series 2 with a Tivo HD. Last week Comcast deleted all my analog channels above 22 so they forced my hand. I'll be pissed if I lose programs because of this issue. Thanks for your input.
