I understand my cable company is offering a digital converter box for analog TV's for free.
1) Is it possible to hook one of those to my Series 2 and the Tivo will still be able to switch channels on its own as well as record two channels at once? Or do I have to use a remote to switch the channel on the converter box?
2) If the converter box is hooked to the Series 2, will my Tivo automatically restore all the channels above 22 that it sensed were missing?
3) If the converter box is hooked to the Series 2, will it be able to record digital channels I have that are above 100? Or does it assume that analog provided up to 99 channels and that's it?
