TIVO Premier XL HDMI cable problem?

I've a new TIVO Premier XL . I'll use the HDMI cable from Tivo box to the cable. Which do I put the cable on sony tv kdl-60ex500 or sony home theater system BDV-T10?

Depends if you want the sound to come through your surround sound system or not . . .

I like the speakers on Tv too. Which do put the hdmi cabel on TV or home theater system?

If the TV speakers are OK, just attach it right to the TV.

Can I put from my tivo (use the htmi) to my sony home system. and then do I use the video port from the sony home system to the tv. Is it correct?
