TiVo to linksys problem

TiVo to linksys problem

Is it necessary for your computer to be wireless when connecting the TiVo
to a linksys wireless G cable gateway in order to access the internet.
I am wireless from the TiVo to the gateway already, but keep getting a
message that says there is no connection. My computer is an eMachines
EL1850G. A friend tells me that doesn't matter if my computer is
not wireless capable.

Nope - your TiVo doesn't even need for there to be a computer on the network - it just needs internet access.

Have you tried rebooting your router?

Been here a long time . . .

I disconnected my computer from the linksys & now the wireless hookup
for my TiVo to internet is working as advertised.
