  • S03 error on Sony SVR-3000 -- Can't kickstart

    Hey,

I have a Sony SVR-3000. It has an upgraded 1 TB HD. I have never filled it to capacity until this past month -- recording the Olympics. Now, whenever I attempt to connect wirelessly, I get an S03 message.

In searching the forums and elsewhere online, I have come to believe that kickstarting the unit may help. Unfortunately, I am not able to kickstart. I have unplugged the unit, upon restarting I have pressed the yellow pause button. But no matter how many times I have tried this, I am never able to get to a point where anything but a Green button is displayed.

Has anyone else run into this? Any solutions? Any ideas?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Ajay

For an S03, you can try "clear and delete guide data and to do list" and see if that helps.

Otherwise, you likely have a bad hard drive.
    Been here a long time . . .
