I remember something about a way to reset the software in the TIVO - powering up and holding certain key combinations on the remote. WHere can I find this information?
That's called a TiVo Kickstart. When you boot the unit, just as the light goes from green to yellow, key in 52 on the remote and it'll reinstall the software in it's other system partition, and then set that to be active, and then reboot.
