    Hughes SD-DVR20 rebooting daily problem

    My DirecTV Hughes SD-DVR120 has started to periodically reboot with out warning. Ill be watching a show or moving around in Now Playing and the screen goes black and then the " powering up, please wait" screen. Each time it comes back but Im wondering why this has started to happen, in the last 3 weeks or so. It did it last night and then again today. My unit is original, no upgrades. 100hour. Ive had it about 4years now. I have no picture quality issues.

    Can anyone tell me why it is doing this?

    That sounds pretty clearly like a failing hard drive. You should get a replace kit from our SD-DVR120 TiVo upgrade page.

      Ok so Im looking at the new drives, single models, and Im thinking around 300GB for improved recording capacity. I dont think I need much more than that because my drive has not ever been full. I have a single drive/flat fan SD-DVR120 and its gotten pretty noisy- so Ive looked into the advanced cooling pac and a new replacement main fan. How do I order these options online?

        The ACP is designed for a two-drive unit, but you can order a replacement case fan here:
