Series 1 Tivo AV Inputs

Hello -

I am wondering about the AV input on the back of my Series 1 Tivo (phillips). I would like to attach an external device (DVD, Playstation), but I'm not sure how to access the input on-screen. Can this input be used in this way? Or is it only for connecting Satellite boxes?

It's really meant for satellite and cable boxes. If you're looking for an additional input path to your TV, it'd be pretty complicated to do it this way.
