HELP -Tivo Makes HUMMING NOISE - Driving me CRAZY!

My tivo works GREAT, but it makses this continuous HUMMING NOISE that is VERY IRRITATING and we finally had to just disconnect it and ave not been able to use it . Does ANYONE know how to fix this or WHAT is causing it?

It is likely either a drive or a fan, as those are the only two moving parts. What model Tivo?
