Directv Website

I saw on the Directv website that the way they broadcast local channels in my area is changing and that I need to get new DVRs and dish. I have the R10s and I prefer not to give them up. Has Directv renewed its bond with Tivo Yet?

Should be coming in 2010.

Do you know what you'd need? Are your locals in MPEG4?

I guess I will just wait and see...The rep said that the change would take place on June 20th. If my local channels vanish, then I will know what happened. I might go to antenna and converter to get them back until a new Directv Tivo receiver becomes available.
