    We currently have a TCD540040 DVR and our cable provider as of September 1st added new channels when we went through the steps to redo the guide setup nothing has changed. Some of our channels have moved beyond the capabilities of the guide finding them. Now today, my wife said that we had a message telling us that we had a new channel 80, which is great but do I need to be patient with TIVO service while they're making these changes. And the channels that have been moved to high def or digital locals like.. History Channel has moved to 54-13, will eventually be able to be viewed. Thanks

    TiVo is generally good about getting new lineup changes and channels. I'd expect it to come soon. You can call them at 877-FOR-TIVO to see if they have specific information about your cable provider, however.
