Hi - I have a Series 2 TiVo with lifetime pass. I installed a second hard drive from weaknees several years ago. All was great until recently the picture kept freezing, rebooting, and now is stuck on the gray start-up screen. I think this is a hard drive failure.

I don't know which of the 2 hard drives has failed. Can I remove them one at a time and see if the TiVo will work without the other one?

Or do I just need to buy a new hard drive with the OS loaded?
