Picture Great, but No Sound

I have a Toshiba Tivo DVR w/ DVD burner. Within the last 24 hours or so, the audio has stopped. The cables have not been changed or moved (the sound has worked great, with the current configuration, for at least 6 months. Also, I believe that the cables are connected correctly because there is sound when I press the TIVO button, fast forward, etc.

The sound works fine when I watch TV directly from the cable box (by-passing the Tivo). Any thoughts on this problem?

Have you tried new/different cables?

If you come to believe the unit is the problem, you might consider this:

TiVo flat-fee repairs
