I have an old single tuner series 2 TIVO. I have upgraded the hard drive and have the lifetime service. For a while whenever I moved the unit it would power down. To get it to power up again I would have to wiggle the power cord. Tonight the unit was moved and powered down. I plugged the power cord in again and the unit started making a sound that was like popcorn popping. There was a blue sparking light coming from the area near the power cord. Is this the power supply? Is it something more? Is there any way to tell without sending in to a technician? Thanks,
