Tivo Fan check

I replaced the fan in my Roamio but now it is so quiet that I am not sure if it is working. Is the only way to check to bypass the cover interlock and run the TIVO without the cover?

Sorry - what's the cover interlock?

You can run this with the cover off without a problem for testing.

Been here a long time . . .

The cover on the Roamio is the plastic tab on the front that separates two metal pieces. I guess it would be simple to place a plastic tool between the two metal pieces.

That tab just holds the cover in place. It's not flipping any switch or anything like that.

Been here a long time . . .
