Hello,
I am having a problem with a refurbished TiVo Mini Lux that I recently purchased from Weaknees.
The TiVo Mini will not show certain channels when in Live TV mode. (There is one channel it will consistently show, however. And it will play back recordings regardless of the channel they were recorded from.) The host DVR is a TiVo Roamio OTA (with 4 tuners).
I have tried everything I can think of to solve this problem, including
1. rebooting both the TiVo and the TiVo Mini
2. using a wireless bridge connected to the Ethernet port of the TiVo and the TiVo Mini
3. tuning the TiVo to a particular channel and leaving it there
The only thing that has helped is to switch the TiVo among several channels; then I can show them on the TiVo Mini for about 10-15 minutes.
Would exchanging the refurbished TiVo Mini for a new one help any? (Maybe the new TiVo Mini would have better hardware/firmware?)
