After all these years, there *has* to be a way to transfer thumbs ratings and Season Pass settings from one generation of TiVo to the next, but I can't find any information about it. Does anyone know a way? I'm open to highly technical "do it yourself" solutions too (as long as "do it yourself" doesn't mean do them all manually, one by one...)

The lack of a built-in way to do this (to my knowledge) is the single biggest detractor from why I hold on to my TiVo units for so long without upgrading. I only upgraded from the Series 2 to the HD because of the digital conversion, making my second tuner pretty useless.
