    I just received and replaced the hard drive in my series 3 but it does not get past powering up any suggestions

    Are you sure you ordered for exactly the right model of Series3 TiVo? Check your model number against your order receipt.

    If that's all OK, then tell us what your old drive was doing and we'll see what the possibilities are.
