Hello everyone!
I'm switching from U-Verse to Wow! here in Columbus, Ohio and I've picked up a Tivo Roamio Plus. This is my first experience with Tivo and CableCards, so please forgive my ignorance.
When ordering Wow! I was told in addition to the CableCard ($3.50 a month), I would need to rent an HD digital receiver box for $7.00 a month. This seemed odd to me, but when I called back he confirmed I would need it.
Is this correct? I'm looking over various equipment options on the work order, and one of them is simply a Digital Adapter for $2.00 a month. Wouldn't that work?
They're scheduled to install on the 14th, and I just wanted to make sure everything was in order before that time.
