DirecTiVo series 1 white ribbon

Can anyone tell me about the connectors used on these power supplies and mother boards?
Are they hinged, lift, or what?
I have pulled on the wire with the force usually required for a pressure connection and it does not budge at all.

I can find info on newer units but not these dinosaurs. How does this connect/disconnect?

Not sure what the terminology is, but the white cable should pull straight out from both connectors.

Been here a long time . . .

It was hard but it did pull out. I guess after 16yrs it didn't want to move.

Yeah - it's a pretty strong, springy connector.
