I have two series 3 DVRs (TCD648250B). One is still in use, the other has been decommissioned and is not currently active. The one still in use has lifetime service, but the disk looks like it is starting to fail. The other unit has a relatively new Weakknees drive in it, but as I've said, it has been retired. Can I move the drive from the out-of-service unit to the one I am still using? The two units are identical, and I don't care about any of the recordings that might be on the unit - I just want a functioning tivo again.
