hello all ,,newbie here,east coast canadian too,,ok i found your site,sounds good,, i have a RCA direct tv tivo,,dvr 40 i guess its well 4 or 5 years old i love,till now,,was watching something i had recorded on my harddrive,it froze,than went to the Welcome.Powering up.... and stays there.. now i,ve read about replacing the orginal harddrive with a new one from weaknees,,,the one i have is a 40 gb is this the proper path i should follow? it all sounds so easy,,but than i,ve read some threads on here that that didn,t solve the problem,,,hope you guys may help thanks
