I recently got installed. 1 HD stb. installer asked if i was going to upgrade to dvr, i said maybe, so we went ahead and ran dual line to my stb. I finally upgraded to a HD DVR. hooked up both dual lines with b band converters, and couldnt get signal. tried different configs with direct..and finally they said they had me listed as having a swm. we did the setup for swm, ran the one line line into sat 1, and couldnt get anything...my current setup right now is.. running both lines into sat1 and sat2 with b band converters, but on sat setup its listed as swm, and not multiswitch. i do not have any power supply for a swm. i get most all of my channels perfectly...but some HD channels will say the 771 message searching for sat sig on sat2...any ideas on whats going on?
