Changing Program Guide Format on R-15?

I have a Samsung SIR4040 DirecTV TiVo unit and a DirecTV DVR Plus R-15. I much prefer the Samsung because it offers the choice of a horizontal or vertical program guide format, whereas the R-15 seems to only have a horizontal format guide.

Is there any way to change the R-15's program format to vertical?

I don't believe so, but you might want to contact DIRECTV directly on that one. 800-DIRECTV.
