    Can this power source be used outside if it is in a weather tight box?

    Most of my installations have all of the cabling at a demark around the electrical panel on the outside of the home. Some have power outlets, some do not. Most of these installations :are multiple IRD's with DVR's. I was thinking I would run the RG-6 from the SWM at the dish to the power source in a weather tight box at the demark with the rest of the house cabling. Then use a splitter to attach each ird. Is this permissible?

    The power supply is not weather-proof, so you would have to keep it away from the elements. However, the SWM power supply can be installed near a receiver; it doesn't have to be near the SWM. See:
