I am going to install the SWM8 powered multiswitch along with two splitters. For my second 1x4 splitter I am going to need to use 3 of the outputs. Do I need to cap the end on the splitter or can I just leave it alone.
In most cases, you can just leave it alone. If you have very long runs and otherwise might need to maximize the signal strength, you'd want a cap. But the vast majority of installations don't require caps.
