  • Networking with DECA and SWiM

I've got a DirecTV D-12 standard-def receiver in my guest room with a Slingbox connected via a powerline network adapter. The powerline adapter stopped working and I was wondering if I could add a DECA adapter to that coax line to access the Internet from the existing MRV setup.

Sure - that would work on the SWM line assuming you have a DECA Router package elsewhere on the SWM network.

A band-stop filter is attached to the D12. I'm assuming I would need to place the DECA between the coax from the dish and the band-stop filter rather than before or after. Is that correct?
