  • SWM8 Installation - Almost Right

I just finished installing an SWWM-8 inthe following manner:

Power supply to swm8 and HR20-100 (works fine)
    SWM2 to DTV 1x4 Block
    Out1 to HR24 (Works Fine)
Out 2 to HR20-700 (no workee workee)
Out 3 to H20 (Works fine)
Out 4 to h21-100 (no workee workee)

All worked fine with a Zinwell 6x8 multi-switch and bandpass dongles.

The two which don't work are not the farthest, but they are part of the original cable system... may have splitters in the walls, but then would they have worked before?

The in-wall cable splitters are likely your problem. The SWM relies on signals a 2Mhz, which only SWM splitters can pass. You can't use conventional cable splitters in a SWM setup.

Is there a way to hybridize the system (part swm and part straight)?
