I purchased a Western Digital AV drive (WD20EVDS) and a external case
that only has a eSATA port.
This is for use on my DirecTV HR21-100.
This is the right combo of equipment??
Once it is connected & 24-48 hours has elapsed to allow for all updates, can the drive then be placed inside to replace the existing internal drive?
I do have a hard-wired ethernet cable connected & a phone line connected.
