My series 2 started freezing intermittently.  After 9 years I believe the hard drive is going bad.  I tried replacing the 60GB (PATA/Western Digital) drive with a 120 GB (PATA/Western Digital) drive.  I followed the Hinsdale instructions and saw no errors.  When I installed the new drive in my series 2 it would not go past the "Powering up..." screen.  I verified that jumper settings were correct - no boot.  I re-installed the original drive and it boots ok.  I tried doing the entire process a second time and still no boot.  Any ideas?
