Series 3 1TB Drive won't expand

Here's the story. Last year I used knoppix and did a DD copy of my 250gb drive to a 750gb. Today did the same thing. DD copied the 750GB to a new Hitachi Cinemastar 1TB drive. When I try to expand it says nothing added. I'm using mfstool add -x /dev/sda -r 4. I also downloaded MFSlive and the same thing happens. I also tried it with out the "4" and still the same result.

Help!!!

The answer

I figured it out. The only way to this is with WINmfs from www.mfslive.org. After registering download the new beta version. It's really really easy. Of course this is a windows version. It cannot be done in linux.
