I searched and didn't find this question mentioned. I just bought a Series3 Expander but I only have a Series2. Can I use it on either of my Series2 as it is or do I have to install it like a regular hard drive upgrade?
Will the pre-loaded software interfere with me adding it?
Whether I use the Expander or another basic hard drive, is there a way I can hook a new drive to my Tivo Series2 without having to open up the Series2 box?
