Cannot get boot CD to work

Finally got to boot from CD but now unable to get backup of tivo drive made. I just keep getting same error messages. I keep getting a hdb: status timeout: status=0xd0 {busy}
hdb: drive not ready for command
hdb: ATAPI reset complete
hdb: timeout waiting for DMA
ide_dmaproc: chipset supported ide_dma_timeout func only: 14

same error over and over again until finally ends request and says
sh: mfsbackup: command not found
then back to weaknees#

Any ideas?

Sounds like your motherboard just isn't supported. Can you try it in a different PC?
